A CHANGE OF TIME

Concept
“A Change of Time” explores the internal change in the patterns of how we understand and live our time, understood as the succession of days but also the socio-cultural context in which we find ourselves immersed. This exhibition invites us to focus on the connections possible only in the present time, in the immediate, in the here and now of knowledge, of individual and collective emotion. The artist becomes a hub of times that pass, sometimes so rapidly as to not be seen, other times creating a huge traffic jam that seems impossible to resolve.
Art therefore becomes a way to show the concentration of personal moments and allow those who pass by, those who live and those who encounter art to participate, recognize themselves and lose themselves without getting lost.
Location
Spazio 57 Gallery, is close to Borgo Santa Lucia, between the rocky wall of Monte Echia, the site of the first settlement of the city. The amenity of the place has given rise to the legend of Partenope’s siren, whose body is said to be buried on the islet of Megaride, the seat of the Castel dell’Ovo, the oldest castle in the city of Naples.
